Lorraine Longato

Business Innovation Strategist – SAP APJ Innovations Office

I have over 20 years’ experience as an industry practitioner, consultant and advisor. I have worked regionally in both private and public industries, starting as an industrial engineer and expanding to cover both supply chain and procurement disciplines. I have formed a career on helping organisations define, capture value, articulate purpose and help them achieve their goals. Doing this from vast industries ranging from Automotive, FMCG, Construction right through to National Government Initiatives targeting transformational change and broad social, economic outcomes. But more so I am a proud member of the LGBTQI community. Having represented SAP in both Pride and D&I programs I am always dedicated to supporting all aspects of our community. I recently took on a regional role that now exposes me to the many complexities across APJ that our community has and the importance of always being active for those that cant. A voice for where it is needed most – for those that don’t have one. In doing so its creating a positive work environment where we belong and belonging is what we all should care about. With SAP I enjoyed the opportunity to participate in not only Pride@SAP, but many other inclusive programs from Diversity & Inclusion Officer to our Global Business Womens Network Board Member. I am an openly OUT & PROUD SAP employee and prouder champion of change as a LGBTQI Professional at SAP.

Nick O’Brien

Marketing Assistant, Co-Lead of Pride@SAP ANZ

There hasn’t been a moment during my tenure at SAP that I haven’t felt a profound sense of inclusion. Even through a national lockdown, with a present an active LGBTQ+ alliance, I did not feel alone. Joining Pride@SAP has provided me an avenue to learn and grow as an individual, no less learn from the experiences of others; LGBTQ+ employees and allies alike. I firmly believe that an organization is only as strong as its people. However, the organization that not only promotes, but encourages a genuine sense of inclusion has the power to change the world. Change for better begins with few, and akin to SAP’s mission to make the world run better, I am confident that in co-leading the Pride@SAP team, I can meaningfully contribute to this goal.

Kylie Preisig-Toro

Head of Enablement for Supplier Services

I joined SAP in 2011 as the Training and Communications Officer for the Quadrem Network. Here are my ‘labels’ – Cis-gender, Lesbian, Married for 12 years, with 9-year-old twin daughters. When I first joined SAP I hid my authentic-self, as I had experiences negative reactions in the past. Then I discovered Pride@SAP and felt the acceptance from the wider community, and I knew I could be me. SAP is the place where everyone can be proud of who they are. I am proud to be me and to work at SAP.
